As a Junior Blowerdoor Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out airtightness tests on a wide range of construction projects. This role combines technical fieldwork with customer interaction and technical advisory services.

Your responsibilities:

  • Performing blower door tests at residential homes, apartment buildings, retail stores, and other construction projects.
  • Using specialized testing equipment to measure the airtightness of buildings and identify air leakage.
  • Interpreting test results and preparing clear, accurate technical reports.
  • Explaining the results to customers and providing technical advice on potential improvements to enhance a building's airtightness.
  • Working independently on-site while ensuring a high-quality, accurate and customer-focused execution of all measurements.
  • Building and maintaining professional relationships with customers and acting as their technical point of contact throughout the testing process.

The ideal Junior Blowerdoor Technician:

  • A junior profile with a technical background, preferably a Bachelor's degree in Construction or another relevant technical field.
  • Previous experience with blower door testing is not required. Motivation and willingness to learn are far more important.
  • A strong interest in engineering, construction, and building technologies, combined with a proactive, independent, and responsible mindset.
  • Good communication skills in French,with added knowledge ofDutch and/or English.
  • A flexible attitude, including the willingness to start early, work occasional evenings, and weekends.
  • Based in the Brussels or Flemish Brabant region, with the willingness to travel to construction sites throughout Belgium.
