- Support day-to-day accounting operations
- Assist with month-end close procedures
- Participate in accounts receivable processes, including billing and customer collections
- Prepare ongoing journal entries
- Own general-ledger month-end close tasks for cash, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and accruals
- Manage ongoing accounts payable processes, including vendor management and payments
- Prepare bank reconciliations, schedules, and analyses
- Contribute to monthly financial statement preparation and analysis
- Perform ad hoc analyses and projects as needed
Requirements
- 3+ years of corporate accounting or public accounting experience, or a combination of both
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Proficiency with ExactOnline and NetSuite or a comparable ERP system is a plus
- Competence with Excel and Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience with Salesforce or a comparable CRM system is a plus
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to research discrepancies and solve problems
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication in English and Dutch
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to maintain tight deadlines
- Ability to solve problems proactively
