Junior Accountant – Accounts Payable
We are looking for a Junior Accountant to support the accounts payable function and ensure accurate and timely processing of supplier-related financial activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and manage documents related to accounts payable.
- Manage the shared mailbox and follow up on supplier queries and payment reminders.
- Prepare monthly reports on suspense accounts, reconciliations, and supplier balances.
- Prepare and process supplier payments.
- Maintain and follow up on accounting files according to established procedures.
- Work with accounting software such as Onea and Venice.
- Participate in training and knowledge development related to Onea and Venice.
Requirements
- Good written and spoken Dutch and French.
- Basic knowledge of Belgian GAAP.
- Knowledge of VAT regulations is a plus.
- Experience with or willingness to learn Onea and Venice.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Able to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proactive, reliable, and willing to take initiative.
Work Arrangement
- Location: Kortenberg, Belgium
- Hybrid: 3 fixed days per week on-site — Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
