ACTIVITIES

• Serve as a Senior ICT Business Analyst and Product Owner within the FOCUS team, combining deep analytical skills with a strategic product vision.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of complex business needs for police operations, translating them into clear, actionable requirements and user stories.
• Act as Product Owner in agile development processes, defining product vision, managing the product backlog, and prioritizing features to maximize value.
• Optimize existing police operational processes by identifying inefficiencies and proposing innovative digital solutions.
• Facilitate workshops, brainstorming sessions, and stakeholder meetings to gather insights, align expectations, and drive collaborative decision-making.
• Collaborate closely with development teams, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of digital products.
• Contribute significantly to the overall innovation strategy of the Intelligence & Innovation department, exploring new technologies and methodologies.
• Ensure that all developed solutions comply with relevant security, privacy, and regulatory standards for public sector applications.

EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS

Key tools will include those for product backlog management (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps), collaboration platforms (e.g., Confluence, Microsoft Teams), and various analytical tools. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team including developers, solution architects, and fellow analysts, working in a hybrid model that blends on-site presence in Antwerp with remote work flexibility.
