For one of our clients based in Europe, we are currently looking for a Quantum Engineer.
Details:
- Contract Duration: 6 months with extension
- Remote work with occasional on-site team sessions in Prague
- US hours overlap: Min. 2–6 pm CET (ideally until 7 pm CET)
Scope:
- Design and implement quantum algorithms (e.g., Shor’s, Grover’s, VQAs).
- Develop solutions using IBM Qiskit and D-Wave (Leap/Ocean, QUBO modeling).
- Work with gate-based quantum systems and quantum annealing platforms.
- Build hybrid quantum–classical applications using Python.
- Apply ML/DL techniques where appropriate.
- Contribute to research and innovation initiatives.
Skills:
- 5 years of experience (in quantum computing/algorithms/cryptography).
- Strong understanding of linear algebra and quantum mechanics (entanglement, superposition, error correction).
- Hands‑on experience with IBM Qiskit and/or D-Wave platforms.
- Strong Python skills (C++ or Julia is a plus).
- Knowledge of quantum optimization (QUBO), quantum cryptography, and quantum NLP.
- Understanding of ML/DL techniques and frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Scikit‑learn).
Nice to Have:
- Experience with superconducting qubits or trapped‑ion systems.
- Research publications in quantum computing.
- Background in Generative AI or Data Science.
