Do you have a passion for mechanics, mould making and technical maintenance? Do you enjoy solving technical problems and would you like to work in a modern production environment where technology is at the heart of the operation?
For an international manufacturing company in the Aalst region, we are looking for a technically skilled employee who will be responsible for the maintenance, repair and optimization of injection moulds.
You will work in a two-shift system:
- Early shift: 06:00–14:00
- Late shift: 14:00–22:00
As a Mould Maintenance Technician, you will ensure that all moulds are kept in optimal condition so that production can continue without interruptions.
Your tasks:
- Carrying out preventive maintenance on injection moulds.
- Troubleshooting technical issues and carrying out corrective repairs.
- Changing, adjusting and replacing inserts during production.
- Repairing, modifying and improving existing moulds.
- Actively contributing ideas for technical improvements and optimizations.
- Performing small TIG welding jobs and carrying out turning and milling operations using conventional machines.
- Working closely with production and technical colleagues to minimize downtime.
- Working according to applicable safety, quality and environmental standards.
- Helping to maintain a clean, safe and well-organized workplace.
