As an Associate Scientist, you’ll provide analytical support for new molecular entities, including small molecules and new modalities such as therapeutic peptides, conjugates, and oligonucleotides.

You’ll contribute to projects from clinical Phase 1 through registration, with a focus on Reference Standard characterization, analytical method development, validation, release, and stability testing.

Your missions

  • Perform analyses for Reference Standard characterization, with a focus on LC, IC, and GC, including headspace and liquid injection.
  • Develop fit-for-purpose LC, IC, and GC methods to support accurate purity determination at low reporting thresholds.
  • Support product and process characterization, method development, validation, release, and stability activities, mainly using LC.
  • Evaluate analytical results, identify relevant conclusions, and communicate findings to project stakeholders.
  • Use chromatography data systems such as Empower and/or OpenLab to generate and document reliable data.
  • Work in compliance with GMP, safety requirements, analytical methods, specifications, and applicable regulatory guidelines.
  • Manage priorities effectively, take ownership of experimental work, and contribute independently and collaboratively to project activities.

Your profile

  • Master’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field, or a bachelor’s degree with relevant laboratory experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with liquid chromatography, and practical knowledge of ion chromatography and/or gas chromatography.
  • Experience with chromatography data systems, preferably Empower and/or OpenLab.
  • General knowledge of cGMP requirements and regulated laboratory environments.
  • Experience with, or willingness to develop expertise in, techniques such as water determination and titrations.
  • High standards for experimental quality, data reliability, and accountability for results.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, with the ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and contribute positively to a team.
