We're supporting a global engineering organisation in the search for a Service Engineer to join their growing team across the Benelux region. This is an exciting opportunity to work with industry-leading technology, receive world-class training, and play a key role in supporting customers across Belgium, the Netherlands, and beyond.
As a field-based engineer, you'll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, servicing, and troubleshooting of advanced industrial equipment while building strong customer relationships and ensuring maximum operational performance.

The Role
As a Service Engineer, you will:
- Carry out preventative maintenance and service activities on customer equipment
- Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical faults
- Support equipment installations, commissioning activities, and upgrades
- Provide technical troubleshooting and on-site customer support
- Ensure equipment reliability, efficiency, and uptime
- Build strong customer relationships and act as a trusted technical advisor
- Complete service documentation and technical reports accurately
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams to solve complex technical issues
- Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with company standards
What We're Looking For
- Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronic Engineering background
- Previous experience as a Service Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Commissioning Engineer, or similar
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
- Experience carrying out preventative maintenance and reactive repairs
- Comfortable working independently in a customer-facing environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Full driving licence
- Experience within food manufacturing, food processing, packaging, automation, or industrial production environments
- Dutch and/or French language skills
- PLC, HMI, or automation experience
- Company vehicle
