The role supports automation testing activities for mobile and web applications. The consultant works closely with development and IT teams in an Agile environment.
Key responsibilities
- Automate regression and functional testing for React and Java-based applications
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases for mobile and web applications
- Conduct performance and load testing to ensure system stability
- Identify, track and resolve defects with developers and stakeholders
- Maintain and extend the test suite to cover new and evolving features
Profile
Education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 11+ years of relevant experience
Technical skills (mandatory)
- Knowledge of Java, React testing libraries and REST API testing
- Experience testing modern web app stacks (React frontend, API testing)
- Databases: Oracle
- Database versioning and migration tools (e.g. Liquibase)
- Continuous integration tools (e.g. Azure DevOps)
- Jira and XRay
- Strong understanding of QA processes and defect lifecycle management
- Agile testing methodologies
- Comfortable collaborating with development and IT teams and stakeholders
- Rigour in tracking and documenting defects
