Courtyard by Marriott Ghent is looking for a enthusiastic Housekeeping Team Member to join our team.

As part of our Housekeeping team, you will help keep our guest rooms, public areas and shared spaces clean, welcoming and ready for our guests.

What will you do?

Your role will cover both guest rooms and public areas, making every day a little different.

• Clean and maintain guest rooms and bathrooms according to hotel standards.
• Keep corridors, lobbies, lifts, public toilets and other shared spaces clean and welcoming.
• Replenish towels, bed linen, guest amenities and other supplies.
• Report maintenance issues or other concerns to your supervisor.
• Respond to guest questions or requests in a friendly and professional way.
• Support deep-cleaning projects and other housekeeping tasks.
• Work closely with your colleagues to ensure the hotel is always ready for our guests.

As the role covers both rooms and public areas, your schedule may vary according to the hotel's operational needs. Public area shifts can take place early in the morning or later in the evening, rather than following the traditional room attendant schedule.

Who are we looking for?

• Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning or hospitality is a plus, but motivated candidates without experience are welcome.
• You are reliable, hands‑on and have an eye for detail.
• You can work independently as well as in a team.
• You are flexible and willing to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays when required.
• You communicate in Dutch and/or English.
• You are physically able to perform the tasks required in a housekeeping role.
