Spilling the beans

We’re looking for a Business Development Representative with strong community management skills, building and maintaining Bothrs’ online community and prospect pipeline. A BDR plays one of the most important roles in the entire sales process. This person is the first to reach out to potential clients and keep the conversation going to win them over. In business terms, that means prospecting, cold outreach, lead qualification and nurturing.

  • You’ll be the face of the company, using LinkedIn as your principal tool. You like building relationships by monitoring our social pages, introducing people, and engaging in relevant conversations and articles.
  • You are the first point of contact for all new prospects, you develop your sales funnel and pilot leads through the pipeline in a timely manner.
  • You conduct baseline research to identify and reach out to important accounts that have a perfect fit with our ICP.
  • You qualify and activate inbound leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities, pursuing calls and nurturing prospects.
  • You explore new and creative ways to generate leads, conducting experiments and growth hacks you find valuable.
  • You set up a business‑development plan to help achieve goals and sales targets as a team.
  • You ensure any client or stakeholder feedback about our services reaches the product team.

Are you that somebody?

We all have to start somewhere. Passion and eagerness to learn are what we value most. Below are the soft and hard skills that will help you succeed in this role.

  • You have experience in a similar BDR position, preferably in a startup SaaS or digital product industry.
  • You love building relationships and get energized by engaging with people on social media.
  • You identify tech and company challenges through client research and collaboration with the strategy team.
  • Your judgment and ability to make quick decisions are strong.
  • You have a lean mindset and experience working in sprints.
  • You express yourself clearly and eloquently, regardless of the medium.
  • You’re fluent in English, both verbally and in writing, and additional languages are a plus.
  • You are hardworking and a go‑getter.
  • You’re curious and always look to learn new things.
