What will your duties look like in the position of transport planner at our client located in the Roeselare region?

• As a planner you will take care of a smart and efficient route for the delivery containers in West- and East Flanders on a daily basis
• You keep an overview of the trips
• You react quickly to unexpected situations and maintain close contact with drivers, customers and processors
• Afterwards, you critically analyse the trips carried out in relation to the planning
• Thanks to your insight, you work on continuous improvement of the processes
• You also ensure that all relevant data, such as statuses, time records and any deviations are completely up-to-date in the systems (EX/TMS)
• You also take damage reports smoothly and process them carefully
• In addition, you manage the master data - from locations to service times and driving times - and report incidents clearly and conveniently to the supervisor

• Je hebt al een eerste ervaring opgedaan als planner in de transportwereld - je kent de kneepjes van het vak
• Routeplanning is voor jou gesneden koek en werken met TMS- of FMS-systemen doe je moeiteloos
• Het puzzelen met routes en planningen geeft jou energie
• Je werkt zorgvuldig, houdt altijd het overzicht en blijft kalm ook als de druk toeneemt
• Met je vlotte communicatie in het Nederlands weet je iedereen te bereiken, en ook in het Frans en Engels stel jij je professioneel op
• Boordcomputers, tablets, Excel en rapportages - voor jou zijn dit handige tools waarmee je elke dag soepel werkt
• Je stelt je flexibel op: je werkt in een variabel uurrooster tussen 7 uur en 18 uur waardoor je werk en privé goed kunt combineren
