NATURE OF TASKS
- Analysis of Business requirements.
- Documentation of Business requirements.
- Business model analysis.
- Business process analysis
- Business processes modelling
- Functional requirements and business cases analysis.
- Risk analysis.
- Assistance in Business cases, Vision documents, Project Charters and Security Plans
LEVEL OF EDUCATION
- Min. a bachelor’s level or3 years of higher education
SPECIFIC EXPERTISE AND TECHNOLOGIES
- At least 1 year of specific expertise in Good knowledge of information systems matters
- At least 1 year of specific expertise in Good knowledge of large organisation administrative business processes
- At least 3 years of specific expertise in Good knowledge of analysis/modelling tools and techniques (use case diagram, state diagram, entity relationship model, interaction diagrams etc.).
- At least 3 years of specific expertise in Good knowledge of BPMN or UML or other with equivalent value
- At least 1 year of specific expertise in Good knowledge of Wiki and collaborative sites.
- At least 3 years of specific expertise in Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g. RUP, Agile)
- At least 5 years of specific expertise in Knowledge of confluence and Jira
KNOWLEDGE AND (NON-TECHNICAL) SKILLS
- Rapid self-starting capability.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong capacity in preparing and writing business analysis.
- Capability to speak to business and technical audiences.
- Strong capacity to give high-level presentations. Excellent critical thinker, by using logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions.
- Ability to apply high quality standards.
- Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, excellent communicator.
- Capability of working in an international/ multicultural environment.
Due to the particular nature of a large international organisation such as the European Commission, candidates should also have the following non-technical skills:
- Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in working in team;
- Ability to participate in multilingual meetings;
- Ability to work in multi-cultural environment, on multiple large projects;
- Excellent Team Player
- Ability to understand, speak other EU languages will be an advantage;
- High degree of discretion and integrity is required as the applications managed and maintained in that department contain personal and confidential data
