We're looking for a lead full-stack Java developer to modernise a case-management application using Java and React. You'll replace existing functionality gradually, improving support for growing case volumes and geographical workflows.
What you'll do
- Replace existing application functionality incrementally with new development.
- Develop Java services in a service-oriented environment.
- Build single-page web applications with React.
- Streamline workflows for handling increasing numbers of cases.
- Improve geographical functionality within case-management workflows.
What you bring
- At least eight years of experience with relevant or comparable technologies.
- Five years of Java development in a service-oriented environment.
- Two years developing single-page web applications with React.
- Three years of experience with DB2.
- Three years of experience with Postgres.
- Three years of agile development experience.
- Five years with Atlassian tools: Bitbucket, Bamboo, Confluence and Jira.
- Two years with container concepts using Docker or Kubernetes.
- Experience in waste processing and the public sector.
- Dutch, C2.
- A technical or engineering bachelor's or master's degree, or equivalent experience with the relevant ICT technologies.
Nice to have
- Five years of experience with Hibernate.
- Experience implementing APIs and working with REST services.
- Experience with Maven and Nexus.
- Experience with Spring Boot.
- Experience working in regional government.
