Bartender

We're looking for a confident, personable bartender to join our waterfront team at Pier 88. If you know your way around a busy bar, can pour a clean drink, and love a good chat with guests, we'd love to hear from you.

You’ll be running the bar, mixing cocktails, pouring beers, and keeping the good vibes flowing. But this isn't just a pour-and-serve role, you'll also be mucking in wherever needed, whether that's running drinks, taking orders, or helping the floor team when it's busy. It's a hands‑on role in a fast‑paced waterfront venue, and we need someone who thrives behind the bar and as part of a team.

What we're looking for _____________

• Previous bartending experience in a busy bar, pub, or restaurant
• Current RSA certificate (non-negotiable)
• Solid knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and classic cocktails
• Confident making drinks quickly and consistently under pressure
• Excellent customer service skills — you can read a room, handle complaints with grace, and turn a negative experience into a positive one
• A natural with guests — friendly, engaging, and able to keep the bar atmosphere upbeat
• Happy to jump off the bar and help the floor team when needed
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work weekends and public holidays
• Positive attitude and the ability to stay cool when it's pumping
