Project Manager

The Boeteplatform programme has coordinated Justice's organisational and digital processes since 2017 and delivers digitalisation projects across the financial criminal justice chain. Its goals include accelerating fine processing, reducing administrative workload, digitising information processing, improving the financial execution of penalties and strengthening public service delivery. The Senior Project Manager will work on the revision of the Cross-Border Directive, the Road Code and Incoming and Outgoing Certificates. The assignment sits at the intersection of Justice, police, mobility and European data exchange.

The Project Manager is accountable for the full lifecycle of assigned IT projects, from defining the IT solution through implementation. The role covers scope, risk, change request, validation, planning and budget management, while monitoring quality, performance and deadlines. The consultant will prepare detailed project plans and roadmaps, organise and lead project teams, coordinate validations and safeguard the quality of deliverables. Statutory deadlines for the Road Code and Cross-Border Directive projects must be monitored closely, with timely corrective action when delivery is at risk.

Stakeholder management and communication are critical because the work involves courts and tribunals, the Public Prosecutor's Office, regions, FPS Mobility, VVSG, police and other EU Member States. The Project Manager will manage and optimise data flows, safeguard data security and legal compliance, and map IFC and OFC flows via the European eCodex platform. At least five years of project management experience plus experience with PRINCE2, Agile and management control are required. The assignment runs for seven months, is full-time and is performed in a hybrid setup from Anderlecht.
