Turnhout, Antwerpen, Belgique Vivid Resourcing Ltd Temps plein 56 000 € - 67 000 €/an

On behalf of a healthcare business based in Turnhout, we're looking for an AI Cloud Engineer to help build the cloud and AI foundations behind their next generation of products.

This is a role for someone who combines solid cloud/platform engineering and genuine AI/LLM experience. The company is investing seriously in AI capabilities - think LLM-powered features, intelligent automation, and smarter data pipelines - and needs someone who can own the infrastructure that makes that possible, not just experiment with it.

You'll work across cloud architecture, deployment pipelines, and AI integration, with real ownership over how these systems are designed, scaled, and secured.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS
  • Develop and deploy AI/LLM-powered features and integrations, including work with OpenAI and similar models
  • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and automation across environments
  • Work closely with data and development teams to bring AI capabilities into production safely and reliably
  • Monitor, secure, and optimize cloud and AI workloads for performance and cost
  • Contribute to architecture decisions as the company scales its AI and cloud footprint
  • Stay on top of new developments in both cloud infrastructure and the AI/LLM space, bringing relevant innovations into the roadmap

Your Profile

  • Strong, hands‑on experience with AWS (strong Azure experience is also welcome, particularly for more senior candidates)
  • Real experience working with AI, LLMs, and OpenAI or comparable platforms - not just theoretical interest
  • A background as a Platform Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or DevOps Engineer
  • Comfortable with infrastructure-as-code, containerization, and CI/CD practices
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently
  • Interest in healthcare or regulated environments is a plus, though not required
  • Good communication skills - able to work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

The Offer

  • A genuinely meaningful role in a company applying AI to real healthcare challenges
  • Significant ownership over cloud and AI architecture decisions
  • Up to €5.5k for the right profile, interview process dependent
  • Full package on offer including company car/extra legal benefits
  • The chance to shape how AI is built and scaled within the organization from an early stage
  • Flexible hybrid work with remote working options
