Recruteur(euse) de donateurs – Saint-Gilles
L’Ilot asbl – 't Eilandje – Saint‑Gilles is a non‑profit association that fights homelessness and severe poverty. The organization operates in a shared governance model and values social justice, emancipation and solidarity.
Position Overview
Recruiter of Donors / Fundraising Ambassador – Brussels & Wallonia (3‑4 days a week, CDD, immediate start).
Responsible for engaging potential donors on the street, via telephone and at events, to raise regular or one‑off contributions, to secure partners and volunteers, and to promote the association’s mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage passers‑by in streets, shops, markets, festivals and other events to explain L’Ilot’s actions and persuade them to support the association with a regular or one‑off donation.
- Conduct telephone outreach (tele‑marketing) to existing donors, aiming to convert to regular contributions or upgrade their support.
- Meet future partners (shops, companies, schools, etc.) to raise awareness and build collaboration.
- Recruit volunteers for L’Ilot’s services.
Profile & Qualifications
- Ideal experience as a street or telephone ambassador, sales, animation or a related field.
- Sensitivity to social causes: homelessness, poverty and women’s rights.
- Comfortable speaking directly to any audience; excellent oral communication.
- Enjoy working outdoors in varied environments.
- Persuasive, dynamic, and enthusiastic.
- Team player in a supportive, upbeat environment.
- Proficiency in Dutch or another language is an advantage.
- Adherence to L’Ilot’s social project, values and ethics.
Conditions & Benefits
- Contract: fixed‑term, possibility of extension; 3‑4 days per week.
- Student contract option (minimum 2 days per week) if applicable.
- Remuneration: COCOF barème 319.02, hourly minimum €16.17 brut, adjustable based on seniority.

- Work location: Brussels and Wallonia (preferably near the applicant’s home).
- Hours: 3‑4 days a week, weekdays, plus availability for one Saturday per month.
