Job Description
The Project Manager (Real Estate) supports operational entities across the Eurofins network in 57 countries in the planning, execution, and governance of real estate initiatives. The role acts as a trusted partner to local management teams, providing guidance on acquisitions, disposals, lease transactions, building reconstructions, expansions, and capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects.
The position ensures alignment with Group Real Estate policies, governance standards, and approval processes while promoting best practices across the organisation. Through strong project management, stakeholder engagement, analytical capabilities, and a proactive mindset, the Project Manager contributes to the optimisation, sustainability, and strategic development of the Eurofins network’s global real estate portfolio.
POSITION & OBJECTIVES:
Real Estate Projects and Advisory
- Support operational entities across 57countries on real estate projects and transactions.
- Advise local management on acquisitions, disposals, lease commitments, expansions, relocations, and consolidations.
- Support CAPEX, reconstruction, refurbishment, and development projects from planning to completion.
- Ensure compliance with Group approval processes, governance standards, and Real Estate Guidelines.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, risks, and key deliverables.
- Support in the preparation of investment files and approval requests.
Real Estate Governance and Compliance
- Ensure consistent application of Group Real Estate Guidelines and approval processes.
- Provide guidance and best practices to local stakeholders.
- Support decision-making through analyses and recommendations.
- Monitor key portfolio events and strategic real estate initiatives.
Portfolio Management, Reporting and Data Governance
- Maintain and enhance Real Estate databases, reporting tools, and project tracking systems.
- Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of portfolio and project information.
- Produce and analyse portfolio, project, and cost-performance reports and benchmarks.
- Coordinate regular reviews and communications with stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement, automation, and digitalisation initiatives.
Cost Control and Financial Analysis
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning activities.
- Analyse CAPEX projects and occupancy costs to identify optimisation opportunities.
- Verify the correct application of contractual obligations and agreed commercial terms.
- Support management with financial and operational insights to improve portfolio performance.
Qualifications
Background and education:
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture Engineering, Real Estate, or a related field.
- Additional Business, Finance, or Management qualification would be considered an asset.
- 2–5 years of experience in Real Estate, Project Management, Engineering, Consulting, or a related environment.

Languages:
- Fluent English, written and spoken.
- Additional European languages would be considered advantageous.
Technical knowledge (IT):
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Experience with Power BI, Access, VBA, or other Business Intelligence tools is an advantage.
