Risk Manager
As a Risk Manager you are part of the P2MO department within the Grid Solutions division and provide project management expertise (risk, schedule, quality) on specific projects and increase the project management maturity of the company.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the Risk Management Plan’s processes and procedures are implemented, respected and suggest improvements to the risk management methodology
- Organize Risk Management meetings and report on program risks
- Audit ongoing risk management of the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contractors and exchange relevant information
- Log identified risks in a tool, assess risk impacts, and identify and follow up on mitigation actions
- Conduct simulations and Monte‑Carlo analysis on cost and planning (contingency calculation)
- Provide expertise input to program members on risk management
Qualifications
- Technical or economic Master’s degree
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in risk management with knowledge of risk management techniques, methodologies and tools
- Strong project management capabilities with a high learning curve
- Knowledge of PMI/PMBOK project management methodology and large infrastructure project risks, particularly high‑voltage transmission infrastructure projects, is an asset
- Proactive, strong communicator and team player
- Fluency in Dutch and French, with a good knowledge of English
