Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Training Coordinator Intern to join our Human Resources team and support the development and engagement of our hotel colleagues.

As a Training Coordinator Intern, you will support the organization and coordination of employee training and development activities across all hotel departments. You will play an important role in creating a positive learning culture and ensuring our teams are aligned with IHG brand standards and service excellence.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in hotel HR operations, Learning & Development, and international hospitality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule employee training sessions
  • Prepare training materials, attendance lists, certificates, and presentations
  • Maintain accurate training records and follow-up documentation
  • Track completion of mandatory IHG trainings and compliance modules
  • Support departmental trainers and managers with operational training needs
  • Assist with onboarding and orientation for new team members
  • Prepare welcome packs and onboarding documentation
  • Support new employees during their integration into the hotel
  • Help organize colleague activities, celebrations, and engagement initiatives
  • Support internal communication related to training and HR projects
  • Promote a positive workplace culture aligned with IHG values
  • Assist the HR team with administrative tasks and reporting
  • Support training audits and quality standards follow-up
  • Participate in HR and operational projects when required

What We Are Looking For

  • Currently studying Hospitality Management, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Passionate about hospitality and people development
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Positive attitude and team spirit
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Fluent in English; French and/or Dutch are a strong advantage
  • Dynamic, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced hotel environment
