As our Logistics Support Officer, you are responsible for…

  • Creating new accounts andensuringall account-related administration is complete:
    • correctly inputting details from the information sheets;
    • linking relevant documents, such as RIB files;
    • creating green list contracts;
    • requesting the required account permits.
  • Monitoring the Office mailbox closely and making sure commercial deals are picked up as quickly as possible.
  • Creating commercial deals in the ERP system accurately, completely and on time, while applying a critical eye to the information provided.
  • Keepingmaster data for commodities, customers and supplierscorrect and up to date.
  • Linking the rightsupportingdocuments to each deal so thelogisticsteam has all information needed to arrange transport smoothly.
  • Stepping in as back-up for the water and road transport coordinators when needed.
  • Handling multilingual phone communication to support thelogisticsteam during busy moments.
  • Identifyingand signalling opportunities to improve thelogisticsprocess.
  • Reporting directly to the Head of Logistics.

  • Holding a bachelor’s degreeand bringing relevant experience in an administrative back-office role.
  • Accurate, structured and detail-oriented,with the focus and organization neededto work efficiently in a dynamic open workspace.
  • Assertive and commercially minded, able to balance the requirements of back-office services with the needs of the commercial team.
  • Comfortable working with ERP systems and proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Affinity withlogisticsregulations, quality standards and transport-related documentation is a plus – if this is new to you, you bring the eagerness to quickly get up to speed.
  • Fluent in Dutch and able to communicateprofessionallyin French and English, German is a plus.
  • Proactive and solution-driven team player who takes ownership, communicatesclearlyand keeps service excellence in mind.
