Legal Counsel EMEA (m/f)
Location: West Flanders| Contract: Permanent | Level: Senior
About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Legal Counsel EMEA to join our dynamic in-house legal team within an established international group. You'll provide strategic legal advice across HR, compliance, commercial contracts, and regulatory matters for the EMEA region.
Key Responsibilities
- Employment Law & HR: Advise on labor regulations, manage recruitment, onboarding, and restructuring projects
- Data Protection & RGPD: Ensure RGPD/LGPD compliance, manage data transfers, and handle regulatory requirements
- Commercial Contracts: Draft, negotiate, and review commercial agreements with clients, suppliers, and partners
- Cross-functional Support: Collaborate with HR, IT, finance, and business teams on legal matters
- Regulatory Monitoring: Track regulatory changes and anticipate impacts across EMEA
Your Profile
Education & Experience
- Master's degree in Law (business, employment, or commercial law)
- 3-7 years as in-house counsel, legal advisor, or attorney
- Strong expertise in employment law, RGPD, and commercial contracts
Key Competencies

- Autonomous and proactive
- Excellent communicator who translates complex legal issues into operational solutions
- Comfortable in international, multidisciplinary environments
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Languages
- Dutch: Professional level (required)
- English: Fluent
- French: Advantageous
- Any additional EMEA language: Plus
