TECHNICAL SERVICE MANAGER

Your mission
Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, you are responsible for the Technical Service Department, a team of around thirty technicians, planners and administrative staff.

Your mission is to optimize all departmental processes (planning, interventions and invoicing) and to further develop the team's competencies. As an active contributor to the company's strategic discussions, you help define the department’s short- and long-term vision and the objectives required to achieve it.

Your responsibilities

Team Management

• Set objectives for the Technical Service Supervisors and Planners, and validate those of the Field Service Engineers;
• Organize regular meetings and foster collaboration within the team;
• Ensure that the required technical expertise is available for the instruments sold by Analis that require technical service support;
• Develop your team members' skills by coaching and motivating each individual;
• Promote and embody the company's values in daily operations;
• Ensure high-quality information transfer to internal teams working closely with the Technical Service Department.

Service Management and Continuous Improvement

• Analyze processes, propose and implement improvement projects, and monitor their profitability and effectiveness;
• Develop, implement and monitor KPIs for your teams;
• Identify changes in customer and market needs and present service expansion opportunities to the Executive Committee;
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and ensure the quality of services delivered to customers;
• Manage the department's quality processes;
• Support the development of service contract offerings and, together with the Chief Sales & Marketing Officer and the Sales & Marketing Managers, define the commercial strategy for selling these contracts;
• Work closely with other departments to align and streamline processes.

Reporting and Budget Management

• Ensure the accurate recording and validation of activities in the ERP system and time management system;
• Monitor departmental KPIs and implement action plans when targets are not achieved;
• Prepare and manage the department's budget and report on its performance to your manager.

Your profile

• Higher education degree with a technical or commercial orientation;
• Proven experience in people management, ideally within a technical service environment;
• Fluency in French, Dutch and English;
• Excellent communication skills, strong analytical thinking, pragmatism and an open-minded approach;
• Comfortable with reporting and strongly focused on figures and profitability;
• Proficient in standard office software applications.
