Mission

We are looking for a Senior Mission Kit Integration Engineer with 7+ years of experience in military vehicle systems integration, vetronics, communications, or related defense engineering disciplines. The role is responsible for the technical integration of mission systems onto military vehicles, with a primary focus on radio and communication systems, GPS/GNSS, vetronics, and associated mission electronics. The engineer will work across vehicle, electrical, electronic, communication, and mission-system domains to ensure that the complete mission kit is correctly integrated, interoperable, testable, and ready for qualification and field deployment. The position requires strong systems-engineering skills, hands-on integration experience, and the ability to coordinate technical activities across multiple suppliers, engineering teams, and military end users.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead the system-level integration of mission kits into military vehicles, from requirements definition through integration, testing, qualification, and delivery.
  • Define and manage the technical interfaces between the mission kit and the vehicle platform, including:
  • Analyze electrical, data, mechanical, thermal, EMC/EMI and RF constraints associated with the installation of mission equipment.
  • Troubleshoot complex integration issues at vehicle/system level and drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Support vehicle prototype build, laboratory integration, vehicle-level testing, qualification and acceptance activities.
  • Review and approve technical documentation, including interface control documents, system specifications, test procedures, integration reports and configuration documentation.
  • Ensure configuration management and traceability of mission equipment and vehicle interfaces throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Participate in technical reviews with customers, military users, suppliers and internal engineering teams.
  • Provide technical leadership to less-experienced engineers and integration technicians.

Profile

  • 7+ years of professional experience in systems integration, vehicle electronics, vetronics, military communications, or a closely related field.
  • Engineering degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical experience.
  • Demonstrated experience integrating complex electronic and communication systems into vehicles, preferably military or special-purpose vehicles.
  • Strong understanding of at least 3 of the following topics: Tactical/military radio systems Voice and data communication architectures Intercom systems GPS/GNSS Vetronics architectures Vehicle networks and digital interfaces Power distribution for electronic equipment Antenna and RF integration principles EMC/EMI considerations
