Job description

Safran Aircraft Engine Services Brussels, a subsidiary of Safran Aircraft Engines, is located at Brussels Airport (Zaventem & Steenokkerzeel, Belgium). We specialize in the inspection, maintenance, and repair (MRO) of the advanced LEAP jet engines that power the latest generation of the Airbus A320NEO & Boeing B737MAX narrow body families.

Over the past years, we have successfully expanded our team of Jet Engine Mechanics. As we continue to grow, we are now looking for a limited number of additional mechanics who combine strong technical skills, precision and a genuine passion for aircraft engines. We are looking for people who aspire to become true LEAP engine specialists and who want to contribute to one of the world's leading LEAP engine MRO facilities.

The company is a key player in the integrated CFM international MRO network. With more than 75 years of experience, and up to 20 international Part 145 certifications (EASA/ FAA/ CAAC/ …), Safran Aircraft Engine Services Brussels is recognized as a worldwide center of expertise in the air transport industry. Your Role

As a Jet Engine Mechanic, you will ensure the airworthiness and performance of LEAP engines through maintenance, disassembly & assembly. Your responsibilities include:

  • Managing engine induction into the workshop and reporting defects or damage
  • Dismantling and assembling engine modules
  • Ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and environmental requirements
  • Participating in continuous improvement projects
  • Completing technical documentation for traceability
  • Reporting anomalies in work instructions and proposing improvements

Your Profile

We are looking for mechanics who take pride in delivering high-quality work.

You bring:

  • Technical high school diploma in mechanics, aeronautics or a related field
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in aircraft engines
  • A high level of precision, ownership and attention to detail
  • A strong quality and safety mindset
  • Curiosity, motivation and a willingness to continuously learn
  • Excellent technical English; Dutch and/or French
  • Willingness to work in a two-shift system (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM / 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM)
  • The ability to thrive in an international, multicultural team
