Barge Master

Sarens is seeking a Barge Master to join our international team in Wolvertem, Belgium. In this role, you will facilitate safe and seamless heavy transport on rivers and canals across Europe. You will prepare and operate barges while collaborating closely with engineers and a dedicated crew.

The ideal candidate will have experience with water-based transport, knowledge of ballasting, and excellent communication skills. A permanent full-time contract is offered with a competitive salary and various benefits including transport, accommodation, and training opportunities.
