JOB PURPOSE
The role falls under the purview of Singapore Airlines, Cargo Division (Benelux) based in either The Netherlands or Belgium and is reporting to the Cargo Commercial Manager Benelux. The aspirant is accountable for various responsibilities across relevant segments and ensures that the cooperation with the stakeholders in the region is well maintained. The ideal candidate should have experience in an air cargo industry and has in-depth knowledge with IT. As a Cargo Sales Planning Executive, you are at the heart of Singapore Airlines’ cargo hub in Europe. Your work ensures that cargo capacity is utilised efficiently, customers are supported effectively, and operations run smoothly. You will collaborate with teams at headquarters, sales, and operations, while also providing solutions for customer inquiries and challenges.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process customer bookings efficiently, ensuring all details are correctly entered in the system.
- Provide accurate rate information and respond promptly to customer inquiries.
- Offer alternative flights or products to meet customer needs proactively.
- Analyse flight booking status and capacity utilisation to support strategic decisions.
- Allocate capacity to agents and stations, maximising space based on commercial parameters.
- Oversee capacity management for flights from key European hubs to SIN, ensuring optimal performance and revenue.
- Handle import and export queries, offering tailored rate and routing solutions.
- Monitor shipment status, ensuring timely updates and tracking cases to closure.
- Maintain an organised customer database in the Customer Relationship Management System (CRMS).
- Analyse internal and market data to support strategic initiatives and pricing strategies.
- Prepare reports for Sales and Cargo Management to inform operational decisions.
- Manage internal rates and ensure accurate publication across e‑distribution channels for profitability.
- Drive high responsiveness to in‑house sales enquiries, ensuring customers receive fast, accurate, and service‑oriented support throughout the sales cycle.
- Undertake special projects assigned by Cargo Management to drive departmental goals and enhance service delivery.
- Participate in crisis management duties as needed to ensure business continuity and preparedness.
- Prepare oversight reports highlighting key metrics, errors, or corrective actions.
- Take on additional responsibilities or transfer to other departments or locations as directed by Cargo Management.

RELEVANT QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Desirable a bachelor’s degree or equivalent due to gained experience in aviation.
- In possession of a positive and energetic mindset.
- An artist in getting things done.
- A great sense in IT and advanced in MS Office products is a must.
- Communication in Dutch, English and desirable French is in your nature.
- Flexibility, accuracy, and collaboration are key to success in this role.
- Weekend shifts may be required.
- Must be eligible to work in The Netherlands or Belgium.
