Job Description:

As an Office Management Assistant, your main duties and responsibilities will include:

Reception & Administrative Support

  • Welcoming visitors and managing front desk activities.
  • Handling internal requests and providing administrative support to various departments.
  • Assisting with the coordination of meetings, appointments, and business travel arrangements.
  • Supporting the onboarding process for new employees.

Office & Supplier Management

  • Ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of office facilities.
  • Coordinating external service providers (cleaning services, office supplies, mail services, catering, etc.).
  • Managing office and pantry stock levels.
  • Overseeing the desk booking system and assisting employees with its proper use.

Health, Safety & Internal Organization

  • Supporting the implementation and follow-up of health and safety procedures within the office.
  • Participating in emergency response procedures following internal training (first aid, fire safety, etc.).
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming work environment.

Communication & Events

  • Assisting with the organization of internal events and team-building activities.
  • Promoting effective communication between stakeholders.
  • Helping create a positive, friendly, and collaborative office atmosphere.

Candidate Profile:

You possess the following qualities, knowledge and competencies? Look no further

  • Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
  • Good knowledge of Dutch (intermediate level preferred).
  • Higher secondary education diploma (CESS) or equivalent.
  • Strong willingness to learn and develop.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a strong service focus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Sociable, empathetic, and open-minded personality.
  • Positive attitude and strong team spirit.
  • Ability to take initiative and effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office.
  • Well-organized, flexible, and proactive approach to work.

What Client Offers:

Our client offers:

  • A 6-month assignment starting in October, with the possibility of extension.
  • A part-time schedule of 3 days per week, with the potential to increase depending on business needs.
  • Working hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, including a 1-hour lunch break.
  • Ideally available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with some flexibility.
