Our client, a leading organization in the biopharmaceutical sector, is looking for a technical lead to modernize their clinical data ecosystem. The project involves acting as a technical counterpart to implementation partners, ensuring the architectural quality, governance, and scalability of a new governed data layer.
- Review and challenge technical designs and architecture proposals provided by implementation partners.
- Ensure solution alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and cloud standards.
- Oversee the implementation of Azure environments and Databricks platforms including Unity Catalog.
- Manage technical risks, dependencies, and release management processes throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Lead data governance initiatives focusing on metadata management, data lineage, and data contracts.
- Coordinate technical discussions between vendors and cross-functional internal stakeholders.
- 8+ years of experience in data platform and cloud architecture.
- Deep expertise in Azure Cloud Architecture and Azure Data Services.
- Strong technical knowledge of Databricks and Unity Catalog.
- Proven background in Database Architecture and data integration patterns.
- Extensive knowledge of Data Governance, Metadata Management, and Data Lineage.
- You have experience implementing Data Contracts and managing technical delivery risks.
- You bring solid technical leadership and vendor management experience.
- You possess a strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles.
- You are fluent in English.
Nice to Haves
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or clinical research sector.
- Background in Clinical Data Platform Architecture.
- Knowledge of CDISC standards and GxP environments.
- Start date: ASAP.
- Duration: until 31 December 2027.
- Work regime: Full-time.
- Location: Brussels.
- Working model: Hybrid (2 days onsite per week).
- Contract: open to both permanent employees and freelancers.
