As part of the Global Analytical Development organization, you will join a team of experts focused on developing and optimizing dissolution and in vitro release methods for a wide range of pharmaceutical dosage forms. You will play a key role in supporting formulation development, improving predictive testing strategies, and driving scientific innovation throughout the drug development process.

Your Responsibilities

  • Design, plan, execute, and follow up on dissolution studies supporting pharmaceutical product development.
  • Contribute to biopharmaceutical assessment strategies aimed at predicting in vivo drug performance using in vitro data.
  • Develop and optimize biorelevant dissolution methods and clinically relevant QC methods and specifications.
  • Support laboratory automation initiatives and contribute to the team's digitalization strategy.
  • Investigate and improve the mechanistic understanding of dissolution and drug release processes.
  • Apply data analysis, modelling, and predictive approaches to support scientific decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Formulation Development, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Clinical Pharmacology, Quality Assurance, and Regulatory Affairs.
  • Participate in technical and strategic discussions with colleagues and stakeholders across global sites.
  • Prepare, review, and present scientific reports, technical documentation, and research findings.

Your Profile

  • PhD in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, or another relevant scientific discipline.
  • Candidates with a Master's degree and relevant industry experience are also encouraged to apply.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical sciences, analytical chemistry, GMP, and quality standards.
  • Experience with dissolution testing and dissolution method development is a strong asset.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis, Design of Experiments (DoE), multivariate analysis (MVA), or data modelling is considered a plus.
  • Experience with laboratory automation and/or equipment qualification is advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and scientific reasoning skills.
  • Curious, proactive, and eager to explore innovative scientific approaches.
  • Able to work independently while thriving in multidisciplinary and international teams.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Dutch is an asset or willingness to learn basic Dutch.
