• Design and define Java-based technical architectures for enterprise systems
• Lead architecture decisions related to cloud platforms, microservices, and containerization
• Ensure code quality through unit testing and integration testing strategies
• Collaborate with development teams, business stakeholders, and technical stakeholders
• Contribute to technical standards and architecture best practices
• Deliver robust, scalable solutions within technology projects for European institutions
Requirements
- Solid experience as a Technical Architect, with a strong focus on the Java ecosystem
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar)
- Experience with microservices and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with unit testing and integration testing
- Senior-level background in software architecture
- Knowledge of eAudit in the context of the European Commission (nice to have)
- Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) (nice to have)
- Experience with public grants management processes (nice to have)
- Prior involvement in European open source projects (nice to have)
- Experience with business workflow orchestration (nice to have)
