Safran Aircraft Engine Services Brussels is a subsidiary of Safran Aircraft Engines, based at Brussels Airport (Zaventem & Steenokkerzeel, Belgium), specialized in the inspection, maintenance and repair (MRO) of the advanced LEAP jet engines that power the latest generation of the Airbus A320NEO & Boeing B737MAX narrow body families. To strengthen our Supply Chain department, we are looking for a Team Leader Configuration & Marshalling. The Configuration & Marshalling Team Leader ensures effective preparation, coordination, and follow-up of the team's activities in compliance with company standards and procedures. The role involves allocating work according to weekly objectives and priorities set by the Completion Manager, while also actively participating in daily operational activities and supporting the team when required.
Your role: Reporting to the Completion Manager your main tasks and responsibilities are: Team Management:
- Lead and coordinate daily team activities
- Identify problems, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions
- Allocate resources based on priorities and objectives
- Monitor skills and ensure development plans
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and company rules
- Manage shift handovers
Daily Operations:
- Perform configuration and marshalling tasks
- Act as technical reference
- Provide operational backup when needed
- Report key issues to the Completion Manager
- Communicate effectively within the team
- Contribute to process improvements
Profiel
Your profile:
- Secondary education or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of aircraft engine components
- Understanding of quality systems and processes
- ERP and IT proficiency
- Awareness of logistics risks
- Able to manage priorities and urgent issues
- Able to identify anomalies and suggest improvements
- Working knowledge of French and English required
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Belgium, holding either an EU passport or a valid work & residence permit. Please note that we do not provide assistance with visa or permit applications.
