As a Front Office Receptionist with F&B responsibilities, you are at the heart of the guest experience. You are the first friendly welcome, the helpful point of contact throughout the stay, and a visible presence in both Front Office and Food & Beverage operations. You enjoy variety, guest interaction, and working in a dynamic hotel environment where no two days are the same.
A day in the life of...
In this polyvalent role, you combine Front Office Reception duties with occasional support of the Food & Beverage-team, ensuring smooth operations and a warm, professional guest experience at all times.
Your Responsibilities Include
Front Office
- You warmly welcome our guests and manage a seamless check-in and check-out process in accordance with Marriott quality standards.
- You serve as the primary point of contact for all guest inquiries and requests, professionally resolving concerns and feedback with a proactive, solution‑oriented approach.
- You handle reservations, room allocations, and guest profiles in the property management system Opera.
- You drive guest experience and sales by actively promoting all hotel facilities and services.
Food & Beverage
- You assist in breakfast and bar service as required, ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.
- You serve food and beverages in a friendly and professional manner, upholding Marriott's hospitality standards.
- You maintain a clean, welcoming, and well‑organized F&B environment at all times.
- You support the team during peak moments and special events to ensure high‑quality service.
Who are we looking for?
To succeed in this role, you are guest‑driven, adaptable, and comfortable working in a dynamic hotel environment where service quality and flexibility go hand in hand. You enjoy taking ownership and contributing actively to both Front Office and F&B operations.
You bring:
- Proven experience in Front Office, hospitality, or customer‑facing roles (hotel experience is a strong asset).
- A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering a warm, personalized guest experience.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, with the ability to independently handle guest requests, complaints, and unexpected situations in a calm and solution‑oriented manner.
- The flexibility to combine Front Office and Food & Beverage duties, depending on operational needs.
- Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a valuable plus.
- A professional and composed attitude, even during busy moments or peak periods.
- A proactive, hands‑on mindset with strong attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently while also being a reliable and supportive team player.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends.
