(Junior) Project Engineer Dredging

DEME is a global solutions provider in dredging, environmental and marine engineering.

Responsibilities

• You are part of the project team and the link between the project team and the crew on board of our vessels.
• You work with them to prepare the operational execution of the works.
• You follow up on the works on a daily basis and optimize the performance of our vessels.
• You report to the project manager on a daily basis.
• You work with the captains to ensure the operational logistics support for the vessels.

Qualifications

• You are a qualified Civil or Industrial Engineer, preferably in construction or electro‑mechanics.
• You are interested in marine and hydraulic engineering, alternatively you are already experienced in civil construction works.
• You have a keen interest in the budgeting, calculation and/or execution of civil works.
• Your communication is on point.
• You are willing to travel on rotation, but you are also flexible to work from our HQ when necessary.
• You are able to express yourself fluently in spoken and written English.
• Spanish would be a big plus.
