Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Application Developer/Architect with strong experience in Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform and a passion for leveraging Microsoft 365 services as a development foundation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing copilot agents, custom applications, automations, and integrations that enhance business processes and extend the capabilities of an M365 environment. This role focuses on solution architecture, presales and hands-on development, incorporating modern capabilities like Microsoft Coilot for enhanced productivity, robust identity management with Microsoft Entra ID, and ensuring data governance through Microsoft Purview.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build and deploy M365 agents with Copilot studio. Translating end-user use cases into ready made Copilot agents
• Design, build, and deploy custom business applications using Power Apps (canvas and model-driven), exploring opportunities to integrate Co-Pilot functionalities for enhanced user experiences
• Develop and implement automated workflows and processes using Power Automate to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention
• Create insightful reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using Power BI, connecting to various data sources
• Extend Microsoft 365 services (SharePoint Online, Teams, etc.) with custom solutions, leveraging Power Platform integrations, and ensuring secure access through Microsoft Entra ID configurations
• Design and implement integrations between Power Platform, M365 services, and other third-party systems or APIs, adhering to identity best practices
• Collaborate closely with business analysts, stakeholders, and end-users to gather requirements, define solution scope, and ensure solutions meet business needs, considering data compliance with Microsoft Purview principles
• Participate in all phases of the application development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for developed applications, including considerations for security and data handling
• Adhere to and promote best practices in application development, security (leveraging Microsoft Entra ID features), and M365/Power Platform governance, including data classification and protection informed by Microsoft Purview
• Stay up-to-date with the latest features, advancements, and best practices in Power Platform, M365 development, Co-Pilot, Microsoft Entra, Microsoft Purview, and related Azure services

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience in designing and developing applications using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 services (SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online) and experience developing solutions that integrate with or extend these services
• Strong understanding and interest in Copilot studio and its capabilities
• Solid understanding of identity and access management principles, with experience utilizing Microsoft Entra ID for application authentication and authorization
• Awareness of data governance concepts and an understanding of how Microsoft Purview can support data discovery, classification, and compliance for developed applications
• Interest in or experience with leveraging AI tools, such as Microsoft Co-Pilot, in the development process or in building AI-powered application features
• Experience with custom connectors, API integration, and working with various data sources
• Familiarity with application lifecycle management (ALM) principles and tools for Power Platform
• Knowledge of web development technologies (e.g., JavaScript, HTML, CSS) is a plus
• Understanding of Microsoft Graph API for M365 integrations is highly desirable
