Vacancy Laser Cutting Machine Operator

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated person to join our metalworking company AMS nv in Zemst (Eppegem). Are you the enthusiastic colleague who will operate our laser cutting machine during day shifts?

Responsibilities

• Operating a modern laser cutting machine capable of cutting up to 25 mm plate thickness.
• Removing cut parts manually.
• Feeding stainless steel pieces through the deburring machine.
• Using an overhead crane (training can be provided) to place sheets and parts on the machine.
• Using a forklift to move sheet packs in and out of the racks.
• Maintaining a tidy and organized workspace.
• Bundling the cut components.

Profile

• Motivation and a positive mindset are key.
• Experience with Trumpf machines is a plus, but not required. Operators without laser experience are welcome, provided they have a technical mindset and interest in machine operation.
• Background in metalworking is an advantage.
• Experience with an overhead crane is a plus, but not required.
• You speak very good Dutch, as communication with the preparer/programmer is in Dutch.
• You work full-time (39 hours/week) in a single day shift.
