Responsibilities
- You develop and execute HR strategies and policies that support the company's objectives and foster a positive workplace culture;
- You oversee HR operations and administration, ensuring that processes run efficiently and comply with relevant regulations;
- You lead recruitment efforts to attract top talent, enhancing the employer brand to make the organization a preferred place to work;
- You manage talent acquisition and development initiatives, nurturing employees' skills and careers to drive performance;
- You handle payroll, compensation, and compliance matters, ensuring that all practices adhere to legal and organizational standards;
- You cultivate healthy employee relations and maintain a positive workplace environment, addressing any issues that may arise;
- You spearhead HR projects and initiatives focused on continuous improvement, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the HR function.
Qualifications
- Holds a Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field;
- Possesses 5-10 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably within the retail sector or a high-paced environment;
- Is proficient in Flemish at C1/2 level and French at B2 (as well as English at B2), or alternatively fluent in French at C1/2 and Dutch at B1/B2; knowledge of German is highly beneficial;
- Demonstrates a successful track record in blending operational HR functions with strategic execution;
- Has extensive experience working with HR Information Systems (HRIS) such as SAP, Acerta, talent management tools, and advanced Excel;
- Exhibits a comprehensive understanding of Belgian employment law and HR practices;
- Possesses strong analytical skills with the ability to generate and interpret reports effectively;
- Is a proactive HR leader with a hands-on approach and a focus on practical solutions;
- Has proven stakeholder management abilities and the capacity to influence others;
- Demonstrates excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively;
- Adapts readily to the challenges of a dynamic retail setting;
- Communicates effectively and thrives in a team-oriented environment.
