We are currently looking to take on an outstanding trainee associate for our Corporate team. You will start your bar traineeship and gain your first professional experiencein the fields of mergers & acquisitions, private equity, capital raisings, restructurings, and investments and divestments of portfolio companies.
Your responsibilities
As an Trainee Associate in our Innovation team, you will:
- Structuring, drafting, and negotiating a variety of corporate and venture capital transactions
- Preparing and reviewing asset purchase agreements
- Drafting and negotiating partnering agreements such as shareholders’ agreements, subscription agreements, and joint ventures
- Advising founders, companies, and boards of directors on a wide range of operational matters and strategic transactions
- Providing ongoing legal support to clients across all stages of growth
Your profile
- You have obtained a Master degree in Law at a Belgian university and have superior academic credentials, excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
- You like to be focused on complex corporate and venture capital transactions.
- The ability to independently manage projects and client relationships and collaborate with others is proper to you.
- You have great work ethics, excellent communication skills and you excel in a fast-paced environment.
- Teamwork is as essential for you as it is for us.
