Our client is running a strategic digital transformation initiative within a complex and heavily regulated environment. The program consists of numerous interconnected services and requires senior analytical expertise to drive functional excellence across multiple delivery teams.
We are seeking a Senior Functional Analyst who can lead requirements analysis activities, manage complex cross-domain dependencies, and help establish analysis best practices while supporting successful product delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering and functional analysis activities
- Translate complex business and regulatory requirements into detailed specifications
- Drive domain modelling and cross-domain dependency analysis
- Define API contracts and functional data flows
- Facilitate workshops and decision-making with stakeholders
- Support development and testing teams throughout delivery
- Review analysis deliverables and mentor less experienced analysts
- Promote quality, consistency, and compliance across initiatives
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of experience as a Functional Analyst or Business Analyst
- Proven experience in senior or lead analysis roles
- Strong expertise in requirements engineering and process modelling
- Experience with REST APIs, OpenAPI specifications, and data modelling
- Ability to manage ambiguity and drive stakeholder alignment
- Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery environments
- Dutch + English or French + English (mandatory)
Nice to Have
- Experience in legal, financial, or other regulated sectors
- Domain-driven design expertise
- Data governance or master data management experience
- Distributed team experience
- Knowledge of GDPR and NIS2 requirements
- Interest in AI-assisted analysis approaches
