For our client, a leading international player in the Logistics & Transport industry, we are looking for a Junior Accounting Team Lead. The company offers a wide range of services, including international relocations, container terminal operations, warehousing, and more.
The group operates across Europe, the Middle East, and Central Asia, with multiple locations in various countries. They combine the strength and opportunities of an international group with the warm and approachable culture of an SME.## Your challengeAs Team Lead, you will be responsible for the operational management of the accounting team. You will take an active role in the day-to-day activities while maintaining an overview of the team's workload and priorities. Step by step, you will have the opportunity to further develop and grow into your role as Team Lead. You will support your colleagues in their daily work and help identify opportunities to improve and streamline processes.
Your responsibilities include:
* Processing financial transactions, including bank transactions, depreciation entries, and invoices.
* Supporting the team on a daily basis, assigning tasks, answering questions, and monitoring performance.
* Coordinating the onboarding and training plan for new employees, developing training methods, and ensuring colleagues have the necessary access and resources. You will also coach the team on a daily basis and conduct regular performance evaluations.
* Maintaining task lists and developing contingency plans. You identify inefficiencies and propose improvements where needed.
* Working closely with the other Team Leads, the Account Manager, and Controllers within the organization.##
Your profile
* You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy and Taxation, or have equivalent experience.
* Dutch is your native language, and you have a very good command of English.
* You have a positive attitude, remain calm under pressure, and have a people-oriented mindset.
* You are able to work independently, analyze problems, develop solutions, and escalate issues when necessary.## Our offer
