Capyx is recruiting a Senior Mainframe Developer / Technical Analyst

• Translate business requirements specifications into programming instructions.
• Conduct impact analysis for development and implementation of application systems.
• Analyze, develop, review, and modify programming systems, including encoding, testing, debugging, and installing for large-scale systems.
• Deliverables include internal and external specifications, test plans, system change documentation, etc.
• Provide support for existing applications and recommend enhancements.
• Identify problems, determine root causes, and deliver solutions.
• Apply sound judgment in prioritizing and managing time effectively.

Who you are

Must have a Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Strong development experience (minimum 5 years) in Cobol, JCL, TSO/ISPF, EZT, CA7, VSAM, and/or DB2.

Extensive knowledge of, and experience with, various tools and toolkits relevant to mainframe development.

Experience participating in requirements gathering, application changes, and support activities.

Knowledge of formal delivery methodologies.

Proficiency in Dutch and/or French and English.
