Job Description
Designing and optimising compressor blade profiles and aerofoils to meet performance, efficiency, and operability margin targetsContributing to multi-disciplinary trade-off studies, integrating aerodynamic performance with mechanical and manufacturing constraintsSupporting the preparation and coordination of aerodynamic test campaigns to validate design choicesCollaborating with mechanical and design teams to ensure coherent integration of aerodynamic solutions within the broader systemProducing and maintaining technical documentation, including calculation notes, technical reports, and design guidelinesYour ProfileYou hold an engineering degree (or equivalent) in aerospace, fluid mechanics, or a related discipline, and have a first experience or strong academic background in turbomachinery or aerodynamic designYou have a sound understanding of axial compressor design principles, including blade profiling, performance analysis, and operability conceptsYou are comfortable working in a multi-disciplinary environment, and able to communicate effectively with mechanical and structural engineering teams to support technical decision-makingYou demonstrate rigour and attention to detail in your technical work, with the ability to document and present your analyses clearlyYou are curious, eager to learn, and motivated to develop your expertise in a complex and innovative engineering environmentYou are fluent in French and EnglishWhat You'll Love About Working HereAt Capgemini Belgium
