About the Client
Our client is an agency of the European Commission supporting a high-profile annual conference focused on sustainability and the green transition. The initiative brings together public authorities, companies, NGOs, researchers, media and young people to encourage dialogue, participation and practical action.
As a Social Media and Community Manager, you will shape the online presence of a major European initiative. Combining strategy with hands-on delivery, you will create engaging content, grow communities and support communication before and during a flagship event.
- Manage social media channels and online communities, ensuring an active, responsive and on-brand presence.
- Plan content and campaigns, maintain the editorial calendar, and create or edit text, visuals, GIFs and short videos.
- Grow and engage online communities, partners and community representatives while monitoring trends, opportunities and reputational risks.
- Set up and optimise organic and paid campaigns, advise on KPIs, and turn analytics and social-listening data into clear recommendations.
- Coordinate partner contributions, newsletters and relevant website content, ensuring quality, consistency and timely publication.
- Plan and deliver live-event social media coverage, including real-time posting and coordination with creative teams.
- Work closely with the client, institutional stakeholders and external contractors, while keeping shared planning tools and the functional mailbox up to date.

- Experience with community growth, paid and organic campaigns, social media analytics, reporting and live-event coverage.
- Strong organisation and stakeholder coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities without compromising quality.
- English at C1 level in understanding, speaking and writing.
