Functieomschrijving Als Junior Data Governance Coordinator speel je een sleutelrol in de lancering en uitvoering van het data governance programma: beheer van metadata in een catalogus, beheer van datakwaliteit, alsook beheer van masterdata en repositories. Je kan een training- en ondersteuningsprogramma omtrent data governance volgen.
Je behoort tot het Data Governance team en je rapporteert aan de Data Governance Manager, die deel uitmaakt van de afdeling Data Office van het RIZIV.
Je speelt een actieve rol in het opzetten en beheren van data governance tools: metadatamanagementtool en data quality control engine, inclusief het beheer van business rules.
Je werkt nauw samen met de data stewards van de business om een business glossary en woordenboeken op te stellen voor datasets en databronnen van het RIZIV.
Je werkt mee aan de implementatie van masterdatamanagementprocessen en -tools om de kwaliteit en de uniekheid van masterdata en repositories te waarborgen.
In je verschillende taken sta je in contact met en word je ondersteund door de business data stewards, maar ook data-architecten, functioneel analisten en de teams van data quality. Gaandeweg ontwikkel je een goede kennis van de gezondheids- en uitkeringsgegevens die het RIZIV beheert. Profiel Met een masterdiploma in IT en/of datamanagement heb je bij voorkeur 2-3 jaar ervaring met datamanagement en -governance binnen een grote organisatie.
Je hebt een basiskennis van tools voor datakwaliteitsbeheer en/of tools voor metadatamanagement.
Kennis van conceptuele gegevensmodellering en kennis van de regelgeving inzake gegevensbescherming (GDPR) is een pluspunt.
Je beschikt over een goede analytische geest en een goed synthetisch vermogen. Je stelt je constructief en pragmatisch op bij het oplossen van problemen en bent resultaatgericht.
Je leert graag en geeft blijk van een open geest. Je communiceert op een duidelijke en proactieve manier. Je bent zelfstandig maar kan ook in teamverband werken binnen een transversale organisatie.
Je hebt een goede kennis van de tweede landstaal en bent in staat je uit te drukken in het Engels.
