De Nationale Bank van België (NBB) zoekt een analist(e) om de implementatie en opvolging van regelgeving voor crypto-activadiensten te ondersteunen binnen het bredere betalingslandschap in België en daarbuiten. De analist(e) zal worden tewerkgesteld in de dienst Toezicht op financiële marktinfrastructuren, betalingsdiensten en cyberrisico's (TP) die als opdracht toeziet op het goed en veilig functioneren van de Belgische marktinfrastructuren, de betalingsdiensten, en de bescherming ervan tegen cyberrisico's.
Het nieuwe regelgevend kader rond crypto activa moet worden geïntegreerd in de operationele diensten van de Bank. De Bank is verantwoordelijk voor het evalueren, registreren en vergunnen van aanvragen voor de uitgifte van verschillende categorieën crypto-activa en crypto handelsplatformen in België. je adviseert het management betreffende de strategische, business en technische elementen van crypto-activadiensten en formuleert opinies en aanbevelingen
je implementeert de strategie en technische uitwerking van de prudentiële controle en opvolging van crypto-activadiensten
je ziet toe op de naleving van de relevante regelgeving door de instellingen onder toezicht, met nadruk op betalingsinstellingen en instellingen voor elektronisch geld
je vertegenwoordigt de Bank in internationale werkgroepen en informeert het management over de vooruitgang in de internationale context
je hebt een goede kennis van distributed ledger technologies, asset-backed cryptocurrencies, tokenisation en andere technologieën die worden gebruikt bij het ontwerpen van crypto-activa of je bent bereid je op korte termijn in deze materie in te werken
je hebt kennis van en/of een sterke interesse in de digitale strategieën van Europese Centrale Bank, de Europese Commissie (o.a. de verordening betreffende markten in cryptoactiva -MiCA-) en andere relevante internationale instellingen
je hebt een goed kennis van het Frans (niveau B2) en het Engels (niveau B2)
je kan zowel zelfstandig werken (zin voor initiatief) als in teamverband, in een multidisciplinaire en internationale omgeving
je hebt ervaring met het opstellen van rapporten, briefings of analytische notities in het Engels
