We have an opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst at a European Institution in Brussels (50% onsite). NATURE OF TASKS • Analysis of Business requirements. • Documentation of Business requirements. • Business model analysis. • Business process analysis • Business processes modelling. • Functional requirements and business cases analysis. • Risk analysis. • Assistance in Business cases, Vision documents, Project Charters and Security Plans. SPECIFIC EXPERTISE AND TECHNOLOGIES At least 1 year of experience with information systems. At least 1 year of experience with administrative business processes in large organisations. At least 1 year of experience with analysis and modelling tools and techniques (e.g. use case diagrams, state diagrams, entity-relationship models, interaction diagrams). At least 1 year of experience with BPMN, UML, or other equivalent modelling standards. At least 1 year of experience with Wiki platforms and collaborative tools. At least 1 year of experience with software development methodologies (e.g. RUP, Agile, PRINCE2, PM2). KNOWLEDGE AND (NON-TECHNICAL) SKILLS Rapid self-starting capability. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong ability to prepare and write business analysis documentation. Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical audiences. Strong presentation skills, including the ability to deliver high-level presentations. Excellent critical thinking skills, using logic and reasoning to assess alternative solutions. Ability to apply and adhere to high-quality standards. Ability to participate in multilingual meetings. Capability to work effectively in an international and multicultural environment. Experience working collaboratively in teams, particularly on large and complex projects. Excellent team player. Ability to understand, speak, and write English fluently; knowledge of French is an advantage. High degree of discretion and integrity, as the applications managed and maintained may contain personal and confidential data. EU citizenship is required for security clearance.
