Over Nomet: Nomet is een jonge, innovatieve startup met een duidelijke missie: meer zeewier op het menu brengen van de consument in België, en later in Europa. Waarom? Omdat zeewier heerlijk, voedzaam én duurzaam is - de ideale smaakmaker voor lekkere en betaalbare producten. We ontwikkelen, verkopen en vermarkten savoury snacks op basis van zeewier. Ons eerste succesverhaal, de zeewierkroket, ligt in België al in de supermarkt, en staat al op de menukaart in de horeca. Maar daar stopt het niet: we werken volop aan nieuwe zeewierproducten om nog meer mensen succesvol te laten kennismaken met de smaak van de zee en zeewier. Bij Nomet draait het om ambitie, creativiteit en samenwerking. We bouwen aan iets nieuws – met veel goesting, krokante ideeën en een flinke dosis ondernemingszin. Jouw rol: Als Product & Quality Manager bewaak je zowel de ontwikkeling als de kwaliteit van onze producten – van idee tot eindresultaat. Je zorgt dat alles voldoet aan de hoogste normen voor voedselveiligheid, smaak en regelgeving. Samen met productie en marketing werk je aan nieuwe, innovatieve producten en continue verbetering van bestaande processen. Taken en verantwoordelijkheden: · Product Ontwikkeling o Je leidt productontwikkelingsprojecten van concept tot implementatie bij onze productiepartners. o Je vertaalt consumentenbehoeften en markttrends naar vernieuwende productideeën. o Je begeleidt de productie-implementatie en bewaakt de technologische haalbaarheid. o Je documenteert het volledige ontwikkelingsproces en verzorgt de evaluatie en nacalculatie. · Kwaliteit: o Je coördineert sensorische en microbiologische analyses uitgevoerd door partnerbedrijven, en interpreteert de testresultaten. o Je ben medeverantwoordelijk voor het up-to-date houden van kwaliteitsprocedures en de goede naleving daarvan. · Je volgt actief de nieuwste ontwikkelingen in: o Voedingstechnologie, grondstoffen en verpakkingsinnovaties. o Consumentengedrag, smaaktrends en duurzame productie. o Regelgeving en kwaliteitsnormen binnen de voedingssector. · Je werkt nauw samen met collega's van product, marketing & sales. Wie zoeken wij? Bachelor of Master in de voedingstechnologie, bio-ingenieurswetenschappen of een gelijkaardige richting. Ervaring met productontwikkeling binnen een voedingsbedrijf (minimum 5 jaar). Grondige kennis van kwaliteit, voedingstechnologie en procesoptimalisatie. Analytisch sterk en resultaatgericht met een wetenschappelijke aanpak. Duurzame voeding en innovatieve producten spreken je sterk aan – je volgt foodtrends met interesse en enthousiasme. Je bent creatief en hands-on, met een passie voor kwaliteit en smaak.
