C++ SOFTWARE ENGINEER – FLEMISH BRABANT – 12 MONTHS+ My client, a company working in the machinery and manufacturing industry, is currently searching for a FREELANCE C++ Software Engineer to join their project working on Linux-based software to interface with complex hardware systems. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain C++ applications running on Linux operating systems Develop software that interfaces with hardware, tools, and instrumentation Optimize performance, reliability, and maintainability of existing software systems Participate in architecture design, code reviews, and technical discussions Debug and resolve complex software issues in production and development environments Collaborate with hardware, systems, and test engineers to define software requirements Write clear technical documentation and contribute to best engineering practices Requirements Strong proficiency in modern C++ (C++11 and newer) Solid experience developing software on Linux platforms Strong understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms Experience with multithreading, concurrency, and performance optimization Familiarity with build systems and tools (e.g., CMake, Make, GCC/Clang) Start date: ASAP Duration: 12 MONTHS+ Location: FLEMISH BRABANT If you'd like to be considered for this role please send your CV to Jacob.wylie@investigo-eu.com or call +3228083006.
