We are looking for Shift Lead to support our site in Zellik, Belgium.

The Shift Lead is responsible for the efficient day-to-day operation of the department with particular emphasis on managing warehouse associates and implementing warehouse action plans.

training, motivation, and leadership within area of responsibility; Ability to cover 2 shifts between Monday – Friday rotational
#Fluency in French is a must (and either fluency in Dutch and/or English)

Your role as a Shift Lead
Manages team performance continually; develops associates by providing training and coaching.
Maintains a safe work environment and fosters a positive team dynamic, resolving employee relations issues and administering corrective action as required.
Lead start-up activities with cross functional teams
Personnel scheduling to support all shifts and accounts, plan and organize staff workload
Maintain documentation of processes that are followed by the department Train associates so an up to date understanding of processes, policies and procedures are
Work safely as per GXO Health & Safety trainings, standards, procedures and processes and actively contribute to a safer work environment for colleagues and visitors.
What you need to succeed at GXO as an Shift Lead
Experience of leading a team within a warehousing/distribution/food/pharmaceutical/retail or production environment, understanding the picking and processing duties.
Fluent French us a must (and either fluency in Dutch and/or English)
A proactive, hands-on working style and the ability to support teams effectively.
